Puretec IRX100-2CI Iron Removal Water Treatment SystemRemoves orange and brown staining, sediment and bad odour in ground water
The Puretec IRX100-2CI is also suitable where low levels of Hydrogen Sulphide are present - one of the most common causes of bad odour in ground water. It is also designed for applications where both iron and sediment are present. Iron is usually the cause of the notorious orange-brown staining that causes corrosion and damage to valves and fixtures.

Operating Conditions: 1. Dissolved Oxygen Content Minimum 15% of the Iron. 2. Staining threshold is 0.2 to 0.3ppm. 3. Nominal filtration: 3 micron. 4. The flow rate while the filter backwashes, needs to be equal to the stated service flow to maintain proper backwash functionality, which is critical for optimum performance of filtration systems.
